Goodbye Cruel Work

Today was my last day of work until June 26th. Here's the exterior of the library as I saw it this morning at 6:30, the incredibly ugly hallway, followed by my desk of mass chaos. It was a difficult day trying to finish up all of the last minute details before I left.

PS. The book on my desk is entitled "Pigs in Heaven", thought it was a funny title.

Ok, you should have known you would have comments and they would most likely be from me --- "Pigs in Heaven" - an awesome book. This is the sequel to "Bean Trees". I hope you read it first!! Barbara Kingsolver is a wonderful writer (and a nice lady, I've met her!)

Yay Kathy, thanks for the tip. I put it back on the paperback exchange before I left. I have a fascinating library automation textbook to read instead. -_-

Yeah, library automation must be a gripping read. I've never read Kingslover, but from your desk, I sense the irony. I just finished my first summer fling, Rant, Chuck Palahniuk. It's a strange, but funny read. Next, on the plane east, I'm reading Salinger's the Catcher in the Rye. I've never read it. I hope it doesn't scare the AA stewards or my seat mates.

Have a good trip.

Ah, yes, that does sound like a more exciting book to read :p (trying to impress your instructors on the trip?)
