El Fin

The trip was an eye-opening experience that taught me a lot about myself and about a country I am ashamed to admit I had no prior knowledge. The funny thing is, I now know 3 Albanians that I see on a regular basis. The study-abroad program has made my life richer by leaps and bounds.

Thanks to all for their support during this trip and for reading. Hope you enjoyed it. Comments are forwarded to my email address, so if you have anything to add, please do.

Laura,

What a wonderful working vacation, love the photos. It was joy to tag along. I like the advice from your previous post. Diversity of culture and experience makes life worth living. There is no worse travel than with an ugly American who compares everything to their small universe and is absolute negative, knows everything that can be better, and is never happy.

Question, since this trip is complete, do you have a more permanent blog page. Thanks, Keith

Thanks for your support Keith! I enjoy learning about new cultures and I hope I get a chance to travel again. Truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
